Photo(s)

The layout uses American Models and some S-Helper Service track, and can be powered by either AC, DC, or DCC. This highly detailed, three-level, layout is capable of running A.C. Gilbert American Flyer, hi-rail, and scale locomotives and rolling stock. It includes three concentric ovals, one point-to-point upper level section, and another point-to-point section using S-Helper Service's track system that includes animated accessories such as a Barrel Loader, Coal Loader, Log Loader, Lumber Unloading Car, Magnetic Crane, Mail Car, Saw Mill, Station/Baggage Smasher, custom-built animated Track Gang, Dump Truck, and Icing Platform.

The PRR Doodlebug picks up cargo from the Railway Express Freight station to deliver it farther down the line. This photo was captured on the South Jersey S Gaugers club's portable layout. The EMC gas/electric was a resin kit model produced by American Hi-Rail in the early 2000s, and is from the collection of Dave Pierce. The freight station was constructed by Wayne Schneyer. The 1938 Mack BM "Wrigley's Gum" long-range delivery truck is a model by Hartoy, produced in the early 1990s. Similarly, the Mack CJ city delivery truck is also a Hartoy model.

This is a highly detailed scene modeled on the straight module at one end of the layout (the "north" end). The layout uses hi-rail track. Everything on the module is securely fastened down, so that it can be transported to local train shows with minimal damage. It is the module labeled "2" in red on the right-hand side in the track plan. The interior orange track line is actually the track shown in this photo.
