Ted Larson's research showed that the The 4650cuft car appeared in 1964. A total of 16,000 were built through 1982. 4460 - 4600cuft were also built. The 5200cuft was built in 1995. The PRS model can be kitbashed into the 1964 4-bay 5250cuft or the 1967 2-bay 2700 - 3200cuft cars.

Stan Stokrocki recalled that at one point these PRS models came with roller bearing trucks, which were supplied by the original owner of S Scale America, Larry Jackman. This project was financed by Walt Danylak and the kits were first marketed by G&W.
