S-Helper Service 2-bay PS-2 Covered Hopper

Prototype

According to Don Thompson, the PS-2 two-bay covered hoppers were based on the Southern Pacific drawings of the 1957 cars ordered from Pullman Standard (drawings supplied by the late Lee Johnson). This was the first project S-Helper Service did without the collaboration with American Models (per December 1995 NASG Dispatch notice by Ron Bashista).
