Holt painted this model such that it represents an F7, because the NYC never had any FP7 engines. The FP7 is 4 feet longer to be able to store the equipment needed to support passenger car heating. He painted over the bottom headlight to better mimic an F7. He added dry transfers for the number boards, and custom glazing for the cab door windows, as well as a working rear coupler.

Holt painted out the lower headlight to be consistent with PRR FP7 engines. He also added side glazing to cab door windows. The illuminated number boards have been finished with dry transfer road numbers from Woodland Scenics. A working hi-rail coupler, from AM spare parts, is on the rear.
