The kit included photo-etched brass body sheets that must be folded up and soldered. Also included were some white metal details such as the side frames and a brass pole.

Trevor built three of these engines (the bodies were already soldered together by William Flatt when Trevor received them). Each engine has a pair of NorthWest ShortLine Stanton Drives for power, and are controlled via ESU LokSound V5 DCC sound decoders and a PowerPack module (a keep-alive solution). The model on the left represents the lighter 44-ton engine; the other two are 50-ton engines.
