River Raisin Models imported these via Overland Models, Inc. While most were sold as unpainted, River Raisin Models did have a few professionally painted and decorated for the PRR, Conrail, and N&W. The back-story of this project was that it was started by The Patch Corporation, but during the project the company declared bankruptcy. River Raisin Models took the project over and brought it to completion.

Bill Lane painted, lettered, and weathered his model. Note that these cars were used in cement service, so they got very dirty, hence the heavy weathering.

Jim Kindraka modeled the N&W version. The N&W hopper class HC-1 was a copy of the PRR's H30 class.
