The kit was made out of laser-cut black styrene. As a side note: the company also started creating a milk flat car, but never brought it to market; Bill Lane owns the one example that was produced.

Dick's model sits on a Pennsylvania Heritage Models variable-wheelbase powered chassis. He has added many plastic and brass detailing parts to create this final model. The roof cooling radiators were fashioned from multi-stranded computer cable!
