Scale wheels. Equalized, not sprung. Bud Rindfleisch commented that the Rex trucks were poor rollers and had plastic wheels. He has improved them by drilling out the journal holes to accept an Ace Delrin bushing, and then putting in NWSL blunt axle wheelsets. This makes them roll nearly as nice as the S-Helper Service or American Models trucks. For the ones with the old Ace steel wheels, he had to file down the lip on the bushings to get clearance for the wider wheelsets.
