This report lists all new figures announced in S-scale. Click photos to visit the web sites.
Alkem Scale Models, owned by Bernard Kempinski, has started a new line of 3D-printed figures that cover eras that are not frequently covered by manufacturers. The figures he has available are every-day figures based on actual prototype photos he has that date from the U.S. Civil War through the last-turn-of-the-Century, and up to WWI. So, anyone modeling the narrow-gauge era and early 1900s, or if you are modeling a re-enactment scene on your layout, take a look at his product line. He recently added the S-scale versions to his web site. Figures are printed on-demand (i.e. no stock held), so allow for a week or two delay. He is based in Virginia, so no international shipping for U.S. customers.

CB's Designs used to only sell their designs via Shapeways. However, they have now moved to selling their 3D-printed, unpainted, resin figures via their eBay store. They have significantly expanded their range of figures. The company is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, so no tariffs! There are pages and pages of their designs listed in the eBay store, too many to list here individually. A handful of examples are shown here, based on the variety of figures and other items they offer. In the "Item Height" field of their eBay product pages, be sure to select "S Scale".

Microform Models has upgraded their web site to make it easier to order their products. They now have an online shopping cart integrated into their site. The company manufactures metal architectural models, a good number of which are available in 3/16" scale (which they flag as 1:63). The unpainted metal figures are only 80 cents a piece, so it makes it reasonably affordable to create a large population on your layout, module, or diorama. They also have various chairs and generic automobiles.
