Fred van der Lubbe, based in The Netherlands, shared this video of a recent secondhand acquisition of his. It is a Southern Railway 2-8-0 made by the former S-Helper Service. It runs on his garden railroad! Space is at a premium in Europe, so he built a raised loop of track in his backyard. The overall loop is about 100 feet around, and features three gauges, namely Gauge 1, Gauge O, and S-scale. The S-scale gauge looks kind of like the "narrow-gauge" portion of a dual-gauge track. A brilliant idea to enjoy both mid-size and large-scale modeling, weather-permitting.
