Southward train #5 glides past the Bybee limestone mill approaching Bloomington, Indiana on Roger Nulton's Monon Railroad Fourth Subdivision layout. The train's equipment is fresh out of the Monon Shops in the autumn of 1947.

Roger finished the locomotive with decals made for him by the late Ed Loizeaux. It's unknown which company Ed used. The remaining decals are by K4 Decals and are still available. Note that the stripes on the K4 sheet are not outlined in gold, as the first version of the prototypes were.

The "skirtless" passenger cars were made by Bob Hogan. These streamlined cars are by American Models. Bob used them as the core and overlaid them with styrene sides by Union Station Products that were laser-cut using Monon shop drawings. The decals on the cars were also custom-made.
