Chris Burger clearly loves trains. His 10' x 12' display layout is filled with them. He runs trains made by S-Helper Service, MTH, American Models, Lionel, and probably others.
The central theme of the layout is clearly "Christmas". The top of the layered-cake-style layout features "St. Nicholas Square". It has a loop of track around it to help his elves move the heavier presents around.
The next layer down has both general-use freight and passenger trains, to serve the villagers of North Pole.
The bottom level has three loops of track with some sidings. The buildings are by Lemax and Dept. 56. All track is by S-Helper Service and MTH. Chris is happy with the benchwork and the track, and is now working on the layout's scenery.
Chris is the manager of the NASG's official Facebook page.
The link below will take you to his most recent video of his layout. He has a YouTube channel that features some of his layout over the years, as well as a few others' layouts, and non-railroading content.
